BEGINNER CHINESE COURSES - LEVELS 1 & 2

Learn Mandarin Fast (LMF) Program

LEVEL 1

Target Audience: Absolute Beginner

Medium of Instruction : Chinese and English

Chinese Level 1 package: 20-30 hours (1.5 or 2 hours per session)

At the end of the course, you will receive the Certificate of Completion. Your standard of Chinese Language is equivalent to HSK 1

 

Course Outline:

Introduction to Chinese alphabets. Identity. Locations. Figures & amounts. Date and time. Days and months. Shopping and asking for prices. Dining and ordering dishes. Asking for directions and taking transportations. All about school. Living and environment. Weather and climate. Phone, Internet and communication medias. Body and health, etc.

  • It will built the foundation to learn Chinese.

  • You can pronounce 80-100% of the Chinese words in 2 hours. 

  • You can create thousands of sentences in Chinese for daily life. 

  • You can speak about many topics in your daily life in Chinese. 

  • You will be able to pass the HSK 1 international exam.

LEVEL 2

Target Audience: Beginners, students with some knowledge of Mandarin

Medium of Instruction: Chinese and English

Duration: 30 hours (1.5 or 2 hours per session)

 

Course Outline:

 

Once this second level achieved, students have an excellent grasp of basic Chinese and can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters.

 

  • They also learnt over 400 Chinese characters and they read and write simple letters, diary entries and short Chinese texts like sms or emails.

  • Students will be able to increase the number of vocabulary and  create over 1000 new words, phrases and idioms.  

  • Students will be able to understand and write Chinese short stories and letters. 


Since Level 2 is a continuation of Level 1, we strongly recommend completing Level 1 first before starting Level 2. 

Some of our expatriates students backpacked to China with our level 2 in hands, others are maintaining strong business relations with partners over there. After this level, students are ready for a standard Chinese Language Proficiency - HSK 2 Test.
